Digital Garden Backdrops + Folders

$20.00

Your very own digital garden to arrange however you would like. I became intrigued by Mark Bernstein’s concept of a ‘digital garden’, in which individuals nurture their own corner of the internet to cultivate ideas and share knowledge. This digital garden isn’t made made for the internet, but extending that thinking into other digital realms. Whatever these folders and backgrounds house, my hope is for them to be used for creative endeavours & big thinking. The folder icons are watercolours from Mary Vaux Walcott, an American painter known for beautiful and accurate paintings of local flora, exactly the ones you see here. There are 15 folder different flower folder icons in colour & black & white.

Each backdrop’s colouring reflects the time of year, akin to the changing colour of grass. There are twelve backdrops, which include a calendar for every month with U.S. Federal Holidays, Seasons, Full & New Moons, & Zodiacs.

Each backdrop includes a prompt for the month encouraging introspection, inviting personal narratives, & exploring the intersection of nature and well-being. It's intended to elicit thoughtful responses & generate meaningful discussions about the profound connections between individuals and the natural world.
